question: monetizing a website: how?

Post by luxiana » Fri, 19 Oct 2007 2:43 am

hello,

I am looking for the average CPC and CPM price for online advertising (what is billed at agency level to the advertiser). ideally: singapore, australia, korea and china.

does anybody have an idea of where i can find that? I didnt get lucky browsing google for such information.

by the way: on top of monetizing the website itself you can monetize the newsletter. but what else can you do to monetize your database??

thanks!

seems that advertising price is a secret for us - none of the websites would like to publish their price list to public user, almost of the websites (at least i saw) are just leave a email address to u to contact with, if u want put your ADs on the website.

BTW, do u want to make money from internet?

as per earning money thanks to the web: yes.
i am designing a website that I hope will be financed thanks to the advertising

just need to get hold of a software to help me in the planning as I am coding in dreamweaver directly... would need to create a manual for maintenance (with sitemap, functions created etcetc)

dont find word really user friendly for that...

i was working in a bank.

as per financial advisory: it's a touchy topic.
in the UK you have to be registered with FSA for instance (equivalent here: Monetary Authority of Singapore).

remember that if you want to provide financial advice you need the right qualification. otherwise you are screwed if you clients decide to sue you...

now: I dont know what your idea is and my advice may be irrelevant depending on the idea.
