short break getaways

ok so finally getting a few clusters of off days and not wanting to hang around in SG. Looking at tigerairways to see what they have. Phuket? That worth the trip for 3 days tops? Need somewhere I can just roll off the plane and there's either a beach nearby or interesting stuff to do. Sorry I'm vague but I'm pretty flexi! Any ideas?

You might enjoy the island of Bintan. Check this out....

We went to Phuket for 4 days and had a good time... I think 3 days would have been good too. If you do go, try John Gray's sea canoe tours - we really enjoyed those

Besides Bintan, Bangkok is another good destination for a short weekend break from Singapore.
