Choral music

Post by Rose12 » Tue, 16 Oct 2007 8:54 pm

Hi All,

My husband and I are considering a move to Singapore in a couple of years. One of the things my husband would miss very much is singing in a semi professional choir. He is currently singing in the Ottawa Bach Choir. Is there anything like this in Singapore? Is there any interest in this type of music amongst the expat/local communities?

Thanks in advance for any info

One of my friends is in the SYC Ensemble Singers

Although SYC stands for "Singapore Youth Choir", they also take members above 34 (hence, "Ensemble Singers") :)

Thanks again for the info. I must say that he is very relieved to see that there are opportunities in Singapore to sing his type of music. It's not my cup of tea but he finds it a huge stress reliever.
