Please Recommend an East Coast Dentist

Post by Amelia Camelia » Sun, 14 Oct 2007 9:57 am

Hi everyone,

The time has finally come for the dreaded dentist visit. I was wondering if anyone had an recs for a family one. Myself and my 4 year old son need to go.

Our Paediatrician recommended the one in Parkway Parade for children, but I want to go too.

Any help much appreciated, otherwise we'll be off to the Smile clinic on East Coast Road.

take care
AC

hi Amelia,
3 years down the road, am seeing your post. I think there are alot of good dentists here in Singapore. I come from England and I couldn't decide who to see. My friends recommended me to Toothcraft Dental at East Coast road. When i called, i noticed their price was not too cheap, but i guess the saying is true: You get what you pay for, as I never had such thorough cleaning and my partner had the nicest fillings done.
I read also some good reviews on Smile Focus at Camden. Again, not cheap but some of my friends who live in town have been there and think their service is fine. expensive though (a lot more...)
i dunno if this helps, but i can recommed these 2 dentists.

hi ?latin (sorry how to address you?)
wow, i just logged on. I'm from hong kong, just married to the love of my life. We moved to singapore and you know something funny, I too was recommended to to Toothcraft by the person sitting next to me on a flight bound for singpor! we were talking and i got to asking her some contacts for essentials: pediatrician, dentists, hair dresser, nail place...pediatrician: raffles kids, dentist: Toothcraft, hair dresser: kim robinson (sam, if you want to know) and nail place: opi at forum.
ok, so back to dentist. her reason: their cleanliness and sterilisation. i'm serious! apparently, this person told me that she knows the inspector who checks their altoclaving (?cleaning machine) and said they are one of the few clinics who have a top grade one. at first i was like huh?! then, anyways, i couldn't help but check out the place (i live at villa marina nearby - iam not a freak who checks places out), and i like how it 's just a dental clinic. i've been to one near one mrt station whereby it's located next to a medical clinic, and i had to sit next to a sick person.
anyways, i love love love the dentists there. they r super good.
(i actually never got to see the altoclaving thing...)
ok, so if anyone wants to know more, just let me know.
