Applied for this round of interview (14Jan 2013) cabin crew open day through the online application yesterday.

Immediately got the rejection email today saying that they have more candiates that suit their profile more.

Felt damned sian immediately. Maybe is my age (29) plus maybe they looking for females? No one will ever know the reason.

Anyone shared smiliar fate? As i was quite looking forward to moving overseas..

serious bro???! I just applied on the 9th Jan... and submit it just recently (tonight on 11/1) cos i left out the photographs only... sh!t... if you have applied online earlier than me... then... I think my fate should be the same as yours...

further more... I still have like 7 more months before ORD... don't know wether they will offer a contract to such a person like me...

I still yet to receive any email from them.. cos its still recent... should we just do a walk-in on the Open Day??

is it allowed?? sorry.. this is my first time applying...

hmm thats what friend in QR told me, just walk in n try.

However, I told her that it might be silly? Because the email was quite clear

She think n think she say true also lor, just try next time. or take nicer pic?

by the way jamezchong... i read your post like countless times.. regarding your rejected application...

if they mentioned that they have alot more candidates that suit their profile more...

in that case.. those walk-in interview.. have slim chances or should i say.. the outstanding "walk-in" applicant will stand out?

Hi master, if they replied you with a rejection email, meaning those people who didn't send in their resume and try to walk-in & those people who got selected for the interview stand a higher chance?

That's what I think ... Cos they might prioritise those who they have select on those who have applied via online .. They might take the outstanding ones on walk in ...

So that's why like in group of ten only 3 get in .. At most 4 ..

I mean this how I think all the recruitment team works ...

My assumption maybe I'm wrong .. Pls correct me ..

Yeah you're right. Even Tiger operates that way. Only take in the most outstanding ones and the ones who are selected for the interview. Guess we have to make ourselves more outstanding

The last time I board tiger airways the stewardess clearly put on a fake smile .. I don't know how they choose the people but yeah ... Anyway ... we all wish we could be the outstanding one .. It's just the matter of time WHEN we will get in ...

Anyone going for tomorrow's interview? I heard it's only drop CV. You can park your bike in the hotel. I parked my car in it too. Pm me your mobile?
