Hi, the question was asked when you go up to hand in the CV. No sitting.
Ppl came from all over, eg malaysia, Korea, Thailand, philipines, japan, Myanmar, Maldives, Italy, etc.

So sad that no calls came in. Being delusional thinking they are just swarmed w too many calls to make. Sigh. :(
I wanna fly! And I'm gonna keep trying till I'm bonded to flying! =)

hi ayesunshine and lolika, maybe they are still deciding or perhaps still
looking thru all the CV(s) before making any calls.
All the best to both of u and to all who went to the OD tdy. :)

I also wonder why i mean should i accept the fact that i wasn't shortlisted or just lie to myself that they might still call me and keep waiting /can't even go to toilet! lol/, i guess roughly they'll only select 40-50 people for the assessment /base on some posts/ so i don't think that would take about that much time to inform all the successful candidates ?

Oh you're not 20 yet? i'll be 20 in 4 days! the recruitment officer said that its okay if you're 19.9 months year old , i'll also have to go for the next round again and again , it was my second time , but on my first attempt which was last year i was only 18 but i still went there just to get an idea what it is really like obviously didnt submit my CV but i was dressed up the last recruiters were so friendly and warm but this time round i was kinda dissapointed the way they handled the whole process.

You gotta be really happy on that day, and wish or pray that the recruiters will be friendly and easygoing , it matters who the recruiters will be

Yep , now i'm waiting to turn into 21 so that i can apply to Emirates and Etihad but the requirements are definately higher than Qatar Airways. lol Anyways you really should attend no matter what do not lose that chance prepare yourself long before the OD bring your best full lenght and pp size pic. Mine wasnt that impressive! which is a thing that i need to note,
recruiters will only decide on limited factors when selecting candidates for the assessment day. And talk to other peers, i wasn't really able to start a conversation which was my fault!! but you also need to properly behave imagine that you're already a qatari cabin crew that is how one should behave himself. I saw some people who were dressed up inappropriately and talking about wishy washy thing which was kinda funny !

already accepted that I didnt get in, some of my friends got the call for tomorrow already. What was more dissapointing for me was because i was using a roaming number, checked it just after the od and it cannot get through, probably roaming issue, so whether they called or not guess I'll never know. Anyway this wont be the last time. :D

thanks, I'll try again next time. I don't really mind not making it, though it kinda makes you curious what you need to improve on. I guess its good coz it motivates you to improve and be better. Its my first time so there'll be more to come for sure. :D
