Yesh, that's right: long pants/skirt+blouse. a full attire would have a jacket, but I think it wouldn't be a big deal. Actually, at the personal interview, they asked me to remove the jacket, so they could see how I looked like. But make sure you look neat and like a business woman ;).
Oh, and high closed shoes.

Hi, have a question on the total salary, inclusive of allowances. How much can we expect to receive a month on average? TIA! :)

They will brief you on that day on this before start collecting your resume. Please read back few pages and you will get the answer to all your question.

Hi cythx! Thanks for your reply. there are 2 answers to my question of which are very different. The first one claims S$2.5 - S$3k; the other claims S$7k - S$8k.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi from what I know, 2.5-3k is after your 6 months of probation. During training/ first few months, your pay is almost like peanuts cause it would be ~<1k US dollars and there are alot of things you need to buy to settle down.

Most likely 7k and above is possible but that depends on your 'rank'/ how many years you have worked in the company.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Yupp. :)

Oh dear! That is rather low a salary! Goodness me. 7k is probably after you have been promoted at least a couple of times I think. But for 3k, I'm not too sure if I'll be willing to re-locate to a faraway place. :(

That entirely depends on how badly you want to be a FA I suppose.

I do agree with that. Let's also face it, 3k to go to a faraway country to be an FA, may not be the most practical thing, unfortunately. But 7k, would be alot more inviting! :D

Hey everyone!!

I just got back from the OD. There were lots of people there and I think the interviewers just finished collecting everyone's resume around 2 p.m
Note to future applicants, pls be on time or even better, earlier as they were very particular about punctuality.

There were 2 recruitment officers, 1 Malaysian called Tanya and another Sri lankan call suming(I dunno how to spell her name but it's pronounce something like that). It started w a video about Doha, then a basic presentation on the lifestyle, the currency the airline company etc. Afterwards, the ground was open to questions by applicants. I was shocked at the number of people that have travelled to Singapore specifically for this OD. My hat goes of to all of you for making the extra effort.

After FAQs were done, we were Asked to hand in our resumes one by one. No queuing, it's according to your seating arrangement. So, try to seat
in front. When it's your turn, just remember to SMILE and offer a handshake. Tanya offered but the other lAdy didn't really bother. Then they will ask a very brief question such as what is your current job. And then, THATs IT!!!

Go home or wherever and wait anxiously for the call, like me. Hahaha
wish me luck!!!

i would like to ask u, they will ask a very brief question such as what is your current job. u mean during the procedure of handling over ur CV to them? i assume its only one to one period of time when u had this while the rest seated patiently fr their turn?
