Improving mandarin? I'm looking for pen friend.

Post by agireela » Thu, 04 Oct 2007 9:10 am

Hi, I'm Chinese from China, I want to improve my English and I've got a good idea. If you are Singaporean, and you want to improve your( or your child's ) mandarin, we can be pen friend. Every week we can write a composition and send to each other. Yours should be written in Mandarin and mine should be written in English. We correct and modify each other's composition, add comments, and then send it back to each other. In this way we can learn a lot. I think it's much better than go to language school. Because
1, It costs a lot of time to go to school, most of our time is wasted on the way.
2, The teacher in language school may not be strong enough in language.
3, In school, the teachers have a lot of students, they can not pay much attention to individual.
If you are a parent, and your child is learning mandarin, then let she/he write the composition, I'll teach her/him, and you teach me.
Trust me, my mandarin is powerful, and I will put 100 percent effort to teach you(or your child). In return, I want you to be very strong in English, and hopefully you also do your best to teach me.
If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] We can know back ground of each other. I will reply you within two days. The pen friend I'm looking for is for long term, and hope our project can be successful.

You need 5 posts to activate your PM function. (Posts that say test or Hi will be summarily deleted however) Got some jokes? Post them in the "leisure chat, jokes & rubbish" forum till you have five posts then you can reply to the PM's
