Hi !!!
I have been recently offered a job with a great /well known company in singapore
Im an IT Manager here earning about 50000 indian rupees per month and the offer made by my new singapore based company is 5000$(singapore dollars per month
what i wud like to know is - would that be enough for me to live in singapore with my family -since we live here quiet lavishly shud i negotiate for more money since i have heard that singapores cost of living is very high
is 5000$ usual for a manager to earn in singapore
hope i get a reply on this since im dying to know -hoping i make the right desicion to move

You should browse this and the other forums - if you are used to living lavishly and yours will be the only income then you should do your homework. If you try to get a place in a
condo here then the rent alone will probably take up a very big percentage of your income...

you should request for much more. dont forget your family's expenses as well. 5k is not alot nowadays.
