Didnt know theres a skin check with light bulb for the stewards this time round...Wonder if there are any guys who are booted out due to Bad complexion? This round was done before the 1-1 interview?
Basically for my group, none got booted out from the skin check. I dont have perfect skin but not too bad i guess and no questions were ask by the lady. The guy who went before me was ask if he wore any concealer or not..This was conducted right after the 1st round of interview(grp rnd)

On a side note, today was a shitty day. Went to take photo for the briefing rnd(need another photo on ano form) and i lost my whole wallet which inside contains my I/C which i need for tmr's briefing.

I doubt so, as long as u apply it properly and its not obvious it should not be a prob. 1 of the guys had concealer on and it wasnt obvious at all. He was not questioned and made it pass tat round..
Thanks for the best wishes and im looking forward to see you soon in SIA too. Im sure you'll make it with perseverance :)

they seem to be quite strict with the kebaya round this time. walk with one shoulder higher, u mean they have uneven shoulders, even when standing (but not walking)?
nope.. the lady will ask you to do the walk.. but i feel every impression counts.. so when you're waiting for your turn, do also take note how you stand..

hello everyone, i'm new here.

it was my 2nd time going for the walk-in and unfortunately, i failed the first interview again. any tips from the gals who passed and what did you wear for the interview?

next, may i ask what do they check during the medical and do you need to strip? i had scoliosis but it was corrected during an operation 5 years ago. there's a very big scar on the side of my body but of course, it's not visible if i'm wearing clothes.

really hope you gals can advise as i really really want to be an air stewardess.

also, do you think my chances will be reduced if i am married?

thanks in advance!

SGhopeful,

I can only answer this part of your query. Im a guy but no i was not required to strip. Here's a list of what was tested on me..

1. Ht + Wt
2. Normal listening to heart/lungs
3. Blood pressure.
4. She ask me to lie down and started pressing my tummy? No idea why she did that
5. Blood test (results out 24hrs later)
6. X-Ray of lungs/chest (results out 24hrs later)

But do note that you will have to declare if you had any previous sickness/disease. Also required is to declare if you had any previous operations/hospitalizations.

Hope this helps :)
