Moving to Singapore

Post by flat_mates » Wed, 26 Sep 2007 10:18 pm

Hello there!

I am a newbie here. I will be moving to Singapore 2nd week of October and I still haven't found a suitable play to stay.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

Before you look for a place to stay in Singapore you must cauculate your budget during your stay here like accomodations..transport..etc..as the standard of living in singapore has increased, however i highly recommend you
to take a look at "The Icon" at Tanjong Pagar as its situated right in the heart of the city and its a very lovely condominium.

I recommend Serangoon Garden. This is a mostly landed houses estate, with many eateries, shops, NTUC, banks, etc. In terms of rental psf, it is cheaper than condos.

it's really hard to respond to a post like this without further info. Are you renting or buying - if renting the range can go from a few hundred dollars a month (but you probably will not like the conditions) to 10's of thousands per month - and you will really like the conditions. So a bit more info on size of family, price range, do you intend to get a car, where would you be working and how do you intend to get to work and back. I suspect if you take the time to give better info, you will find more thoughtfull responses - Also, you are on the perfect site to do some homework first :D and No, I am not an agent, and have no affiliation to this web site, other than the fact that I used it a lot when looking for my property

This place is like a vacation resort with 8+ swimming pools and a gym and plenty of bbq spots. one bedroom runs from SG4000.

Also I have furnitures to sell all brought from NYC - Ethan Allans. will post ads soon in the classified section.
