Hi Cythx..to answer ur question..i heard there is rumours around saying that CX no longer gave basic pay for those new hires.They might only gv certain allowance.Benefit wise it will b huge differ compare with last time.Thats wat i know on wat u ask...so if anyone who really got clear pic pls elaborate for us.Thx... :P

I am not malaysian , and i have got the invitation to attend the career talk in KL next week . :)

Seems like there are lots of people received invitation mail from Cathay Pacific. :o

i guess is just like the walk in interview for other airlines accept cathay is really organize that they divide different groups and days to be more manageble.

btw

anyone know how to get prepare for cathay

Im from Singapore, and i received their invitation for 6th June, at 2pm..

By the way, just to confirm, is this the HKG-based one, whereby crew fly international routes?

yummy-liz, don't envy... still got other airline as well. Apply to as many as you can if you want to be a Cabin Crew. One day sure you can get it. Cheer up dear... :)

Hi esah,
Mine also same with u, is June 6th at 250pm and I am from Singapore also. Btw, how are you going to KL then? Will you want to join my trips to KL on 5th June night? :D

And this round CX is looking FA base at HK and flying international route. :wink:

But I am not sure whether are they going to pay us any basic salary as I saw alot commented they will only pay HKD 117 per hour and they promise all FA will have a fix 75 hour on air.

So the gross salary count in this way, 75 hours x HKD 117 = HKD 8775 per month + allowances around HKD 10k + Housing allowance for non local ppl HKD 6500 = HKD 25, 275 is our gross monthly income. :???: :???: :???:

so u r applying for steward?? anw... applying for cathay do one need speak canto? do u speak canto?? i read from prev pages tt msian will be tested on malay language. do u speak malay too? since this is held in msia.

Ya, i am a guy so I sure go for the steward post la.. :lol:
I do spoke canto, malay,mandarin, hokkien, hai nan and hakka.. so wat ever test they give me for the language part, i guess is not an issue.. guess wat.. i do sing canto, hokkien and malay songs at ktv.. heheh.. :D

So r u going? when is ur interview date and time? R u male/ female? :shock:
