Cx has been employing Singaporean cabin crew for over 40 years. There are quite a few crew still working as the last Singapore recruitment for HK based crew was in 1993 they are all very senior either SPs or ISMs.[Maybe seniority 15 to 30 years] Some were hired as far back as 1975 and are still there! There was a policy to get more HK citizens to work for as crew but there was a high attrition rate. Not sure why this is so, but you can speculate.

Currenty they are advetising for Indonesia, Malaysian and Japan citizens for HK based. All due to language requirment for flights to these countires and beyond i guess.

No need to hire Singaporeans because there have NO VALUE ADDED language apart from mandarain.

Sin based crew are mainly Singaporeans who come from other airlines or former HK based crew who resigned and join sin base.

I believe a HK person with a PIC with the symbol *** A on their ID card can apply for HK based. Everybody else forget it.

However, Singaporeans know the culture of their own country.

This is a rather rash statement; in the first instance you state 'I believe' which indicates you are uncertain and have no source to which you can refer.
As for saying 'Everybody else forget it' , don't you think it would be more apt to read the Airline's recruitment advertisements regarding requirements instead of making a 'sweeping' statement?
