i have permed hair for abt 4 months plus now.. can anyone advice the best products (sculpting lotion and shampoo or mask) for daily use? till now i have been using products recommended by my salon

when i permed mine..i was just told that sculpting lotion is enuf

i am using serum, moisturising lotion and sculpting lotion.. but my hair appears dry now :(

I think perm maintenance depends on the type of perm you have.

I've permed my hair twice within a 1 year period, and found my curls to be "relaxing" after the 3rd month or so.

But I have colleagues who perm once a year and their curls are still ok. I think the longest wearing is the ceramic perm.

For my own maintenance, I used sculpting lotion on most days, and on the days that I could wear a hat or not go out of the house, I'll only use leave-on conditioner & no styling products.

I think for dryness, you may need to do treatment for your hair.
