No Sopranos available in Singapore...

Went to the HMV store on Orchard to buy the DVD sets of the series. "Dun have lah, banned in Singapore"...

What's new I mumble and thank them for the effort to inform me on this.

No sweat, because I always buy online from HMV.co.uk if not available in Singapore.

Then, coincedence or not, I get the newsletter from hmv.co.uk, saying there is a competition and promotion for the Sopranos series DVD sets.

Awesome I think to myself...

So I click on the button for the promotion, new site pops up, a minisite dedicated to The Sopranos.

So what do I do now, email them and explain I am living in Singapore, but I am not a SIngaporean, so no harm sending me the DVD sets, since I can handle realistic violence?

Should I obey and be merry with the sh*t and pulp being broadcasted here on cable TV?

This country boring? Man, this country sucks.

Just buy it from someone on ebay in the uk or the us. Works perfect everytime.

Do be careful when you're bringing them DVDs in Saint.

Recently, I had some and was stopped by the airport customs. Had to send them to the Censorship board and had to even pay a fee for their stamp of approval.

Rarely happens but it's twice so far

and one of em was the complete Sopranos set.

The recent one was 30rock.

Could have sworn i saw an episode on one of the HBO channels the other night.

Buy the series on amazon. I've bought a load of stuff their and never had a problem, even with stuff thats "sa called" banned here.
