This forums has a sponsor who does.

I've used Siang Hock for almost 15 years whenever I need a truck or car.

See http://www.sianghock.com.sg/

They are a lot cheaper than Hertz (it hurts to rent from hertz), Budget, Avis or the other biggies. Granted the cars aren't brand new. He used to have two old 'E' Jags parked in the carpark behind the building at his Balestier location. (his personal ones - 1 is a V12) But don't know it he'll rent them out. His site says 4 locations now so it sounds like he's doing rather well.

The local one sounds good. I had to go for AVIS (company policy) and being a FIRST customer (highest tier with AVIS) I got an old stinky Toyota with 65K km on it for a lot of money ... and for the GPS they asked me to drive to the AP to pick one up ...
So go for he local ones they can't be as bad as AVIS
