Worth going to Tioman Island from Singapore in one week end?

Tioman is a nice place.

Can anyone please enlighten on the following:

1- Is it true that they cease tour and ferry operations to Tioman in the monsoon season months (that means now)?

2- If this is so, when is it considered that the monsoon season is over and visitors can now go to Tioman?
