I have been offered a job in Singapore next year and my employer has sent me forms for EP and MOE. My employer said to get my local doctor to certify that I am fit for teaching and also get a chest x-ray. MOM may want a blood test and a chest x-ray when I get to Singapore. Apparently they randomly select people for this. For my local health check, does the doctor just write a medical certificate saying I have no health problems, or does he have to give results of tests? Thanks

Yes, you will actually need to get the tests done and bring them to MOM. This is Singapore, any doctor caught cheating like that would be in deep kimchi
But it's a very standard procedure and any hospital can arrange it.

Actually, as far as i know, medical check up is required for all applications but you dont have to submit it with your EP application forms (Not sure for MOE application). Once your EP is approved, you will receive a letter from MOM togather with a medical report form that you would need to ask a local doctor to fill in. Medical check up should be done locally in Singapore. You will need to submit this togather with your other documents during collection of your EP. Once you submitted your medical report, including your x-ray report, it is valid for 2 years for use on other application such as Singapore PR application.

OP here. My employer has sent me MOM and MOE forms to fill out and they will submit them along with my medical report and chest x-ray done here(Australia). Does the doctor just have to say that I am medically fit or does he have to give details e.g. blood pressure, blood tests etc?
