Any of the major places will have a lovely Christmas brunch, luncheon, afternoon tea or dinner. It will depend upon your desires, your wallet size and whether you have a drink of champagne or not. It may be too early just yet to book, but you could always ask around. We've been to the Marriott and quite enjoyed ourselves. Its not the most expensive and fanciest, but it suit our tastes. The Fullerton would probably be the most expensive. You are correct in booking early, about October.

Thanks for your help, the only thing that is a must is that it must be child friendly maybe with a play area to let us have 5 mins peace :D

Can't remember the name, but the hotel between Tanglin shopping centre and the medical centre on the corner of Orchard Blvd. They do have a child's play area and you can request a table near by.
