Anyone into Squash? Wanna join for a game?

Post by jhuerta » Tue, 06 Jan 2009 3:01 pm

Hi,

I just got to this forum after browsing for squash courts and an squash buddies to play with in Singapore.

Anyone interested in joining for an squash game? send me a message or email ([email protected])

I just started to play 2 months ago, I still can count how many times I've played.

I've played in Kallang. I have also seen there are courts in St. Wilfrid and Burghley (but never been there).

We can meet to play anywhere. Any weekday after 7 is fine and weekends full day.

see ya,

Juan

Anyone up for a game anytime soon? drop me a note [email protected]
In case anyone is interested in playing in the Holland Village area, please drop me a note. I play with a few others in my condo, but am looking to expand the circle, so the games are not disrupted due to people's travels. Would have loved to play on Thursdays, but it's a tad far.
Hi, im interested in joining for a game. You can contact me at [email protected]

thanks,

Juan

Squash

Post by graceey82 » Wed, 07 Jan 2009 2:39 pm

Hi there,

I'm 26 f and am also interested to get into the game, squash. Played a couple of time when I was living in Frnakfurt, but never have any proper lesson or anything.Mainly beginner and for leisure. I have just gotten myself a new racquet and havent got the chance to use it yet!

Do count me in if anyone is going to have a game or two and dont mind a beginner :P [email protected]

cheers,
grace

Squash is still on

Post by endurance0201 » Sun, 11 Jan 2009 11:49 am

Hi,
We still do play squash on a weekly basis. Should probably resume real soon. Those who are keen, pls let me know. We are a group of squash enthusiasts and we have a good mix of both males & females from different nationalities, age & level of play. We usually play at Kallang Squash Centre or ocasionally at YCK from 7 to 9pm.

Seems like there is a fair amount of interest still left in the game. Also, looking at the thread, there's a need to organize the responses by
(a) location and/or (b) skill level in the game.

It's helpful if people in different locations (like endurance0201) should take the lead and try and set up regular/informal sessions provided at least 2 people show up for each session.

Most people are also interested in the social aspect of the game, so varying skill levels aren't usually a problem.

I play in the Holland Village vicinity and have a court in my condo. I regularly play with another devoted player and we are always looking for people who are interested AND committed to learning/playing the game. If interested, drop me a line.

I'm very interesting to join squash session with you and others. I also usually play at YCK, but since my friend moved from Singapore I never play squash again :(
Could you please inform me how to join?
Thanks.

Hi,

I'd love to get in contact with someone who wants to play squash. I just arrived here last week. Send me an email at text at 9152-6194 or an email at [email protected] I'm probably an intermediate player, and usually just play for leisure.

Hi,

I'm in pretty much exactly the same situation as Neil - recently relocated out here and looking for a game - trying to locate courts either near Newton or Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations - any recommendations?
Sam
