Hi Katherine

We relocated here a year ago with 2 small children who were all up to date with their immunisations back home.

After I found a doctor here I asked whether they should have any additional immunisations, he went thru their records and advised that they should have a couple more, one being a Hep A if we travel throughout Asia and a couple of otherrs.

Any doctor will administer them. I found a lovely doctor, do you know where you will be living?

Most doctors will follow the immunization schedule for your country - although like the previous poster mentioned it's a good idea to add those extra shots for SEasia (hep A, TB...etc).

Two excellent pediatricians are Dr. Mark Loh of International Medical Clinic (Tanglin Shopping Center - Tel: 6733-4440) and Dr. Belinda (Mount Elizabeth).

If you are sending your young ones to preschool or daycare they will also want to see records of immunization.

that's great-thanks for your responses. my husband will be going out in a couple of weeks time to hopefully secure us an appartment but we are still undecided about where to live-i guess it will come down to the quality of the appartment as we like the idea of the east coast or holland village area but can't decide which would be best! following on from your responses, i think i'll wait until we arrive in singapore and then seek out a doctor rather than trying to get them done early here in the uk.
many thanks again...
