New Ipod product line available in Singapore?

Post by elpatre » Fri, 07 Sep 2007 11:44 am

Hi,

after the new ipod line was introduced this Wednesday, i wonder if the products they will be available in Singapore as announced beginning from this weekend?
The official Apple shop webpage for singapore states 2-3 days delivery beginning yesterday, which would fit.

Anybody good ideas where in general to get apple products from in singapore? do we have an official apple store?

cheers

It's available for order on the Apple Singapore online store now. I'm not sure whether the premium resellers such as EpiCentre@Orchard or EpiCentre@Suntec carry the iPod Touch or the new iPod Nano with video capabilities yet. Here's a list of Apple resellers in Singapore.

http://www.apple.com.sg/buy/reseller.html

The iPod Touch is going for S$698 (wGST) for the 16GB model and S$498 for the 8GB model. It's really just like the iPhone minus the phone and camera functions. It's about S$35 more expensive than buying in the US Apple Store in NY or CA for the 16GB model.

Didn't check out the new Nano prices.

Went to the EpiCentre@Orchard and found out that the iPod Touch, the new Nano and the expanded iPod Classic will only be available in stores over the next 1-3 weeks. It is available for pre-order, though. I put my name down to be contacted once the 16GB iPod Touch is available. Can't wait for the iPhone to be available for cellular service in Singapore

Online Apple Store has the touch as "expected" shipping date as 28th September.

I was thinking of getting a nano myself, but after having seen the video of the features on the apple website, I think I'm gonna wait for the touch to come out. Its brilliant!!

I just went to FUNAN near City Hall MRT (around 1pm) and visited the official Apple Retailerm on the 3rd floor. They have all new Apple Ipod Products (expect the iPod touch) in stock.

I asked for the Ipod Nano black 8GB model (at that time there were 45 more black ones in stock) And they said, as expected, they sell faaaast. So hurry up guys.

Prices as per apples online shop, 4gb - 248SD | 8gb - 348 SD

cheers

And you can't update the calender on the device itself. Oh and bluetooth is limited if at all available ( some countries)
= be careful !!!! what you buy
