Has anyone taken a 6 year old to Borneo?

We are thinking of taking a 10 day trip to Borneo but are not sure it would be an appopriate adventure for our 6 year old. I woudl describe us as soft eco or soft adventure people. We are in good shape but aren't doign an Ironman anytime soon.

Has anyone out been and can you give me advice on what to see and what to avoid. We are interested in staying at least a couple of days in one of those stilt homes out on the water, so any suggestions for that would be great.
