tennis partner around Novena

Post by new_in_town77 » Wed, 29 Aug 2007 9:16 am

Hi all!
I am looking for people to play tennis with around Novena - want to start playing again after a long pause, would say that I am an average player for a woman.
It would be great, if there were people with a court in their condo, as I don't have one. If there is four of us, we could also do doubles, which should be fun.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi,

I stay around the area but I do not have a court too. I play tennis as and when I am free. Do let me know if you need a player.

Cheers

hi,

my tennis partner has left for japan to work, and am not coping well with the loss! If you're in the Bishan area, and are interested in the occassional tennis game, at courts nearby, do give me a shout. Intermediate players looking for a social game, not life or death situations please!

Yes I'm interested !

I started playing recently and would like to find hitting partner/s to practise if time permits.

Do keep me in the loop, thanks!

ok, i'm gonna take this off-line as I can't pm yet. Hard to organise some tennis this way. Those of you really interested in tennis next weekend (weather permitting), email me and as soon as I get 3 other interested people its a go. We can discuss venue on the email.

Hi All

I'm living in Yio Chu Kang and the court in the condo is never used. If anyone's still interested i'd like a practice buddy for the occassional hit on Saturday arvo. I used to play competition tennis in oz but that was a while back and so pretty average now.

OK enough of this goofing around. If you're serious about this, email and we'll get this going. It's looks like everyone's around the thomson, yio chu kang, yishun area. Drop me a line and we'll perhaps get a game before 2008! [email protected]

Cheers!

A guy put his name on here as a tennis coach- can't find the post now- and I thought I'd give him a call. This was a real GOOD MOVE ! His name is See Wai (9021 7831)
I have had 2 lessons with him now and he's working on my suspect back-hand with reasonable success even at this early stage ! He speaks excellent English, cracks good jokes and even repaired my condo's tennis net ! I've had coaches before and this guy knows how to 'get the message across'. Give him a call- you'll enjoy the work-out !-
