I think the pay as a cabin crew is attractive only in the short term. If i'm not wrong, not only your salary would not be not based on merit, there is no yearly increment, so you're kinda stuck there until you get your lump sum in 5 years (which is not bad either!

). I have an impression that they are currently doing well and the company bonus should be quite substantial but i think stu brought up a very relevant point about whether the bonus is based on the base salary only, cos if it is.... then... well, it won't be as great as i thought it would be haha...
Also, i believe that a degree is not only a piece of paper that represents your qualification and the additional amount of education you went through, but also the knowledge and wisdom you've exponentially accumulated over these years of higher education. I see a huge gap of difference in maturity and wisdom in myself now compared to 3 years ago when i did 'A' levels. So would a degree make a difference in getting a promotion? Maybe not in terms of qualification but the 'substance' in a graduate? Haha... I don't know...
Thanks for your career advice stu, appreciate it

My career options are still widely open at the moment, hopefully i'll be able to make my decision and stay happy with it
Have fun in your training celt and do continue to update us!
