Applying for PR when one has a criminal record

Post by Misc » Fri, 24 Aug 2007 2:23 pm

Hi, I would like to ask :

If the wife is a Singapore citizen, what are the chances of the husband being granted PR if he has a criminal record (felony) which was committed ten years ago. What are his chances of getting his SPR approved?

Is there any body or agent he can contact to ask specifically on this topic?
Need some help here...many thanks!

I wouldn't know, you need to talk to an immigration lawyer. And a good one at that, as I cannot imagine it will be an easy task.

Since the wife is a Singapore citizen, she should try to approach her MP
Best of luck.
