WOMAD

Postby Derba » Thu, 23 Aug 2007 4:16 pm

Hello,

I am going to womad this week-end with two or three friends. It would be nice to meet new people there. Is anyone going and willing to meet up there?

Cheers.

This will be my 10th year since it started. The only bummer this year is that they are not allowing bottles. :???:

Since you have not been there before, some heads up.

1. Have a mat, small towels. Check with organizer to carry plastic bottles, cheese, sandwiches etc. Unless u r game to queue up.
2. Light clothes and a small umbrella just in case
3. Go early. 530 or so if you want a good spot. Else you will be battling 16000 people at the end to find a place. :-)

HAVE FUN!

In case you wish to be there early, contact me. I will send a private message but you wont be able to recieve or respond as you are less than 10.

Thanks for your reply.

I am planning to go there quite late tonight, I will have to struggle with the crowd.

I have recieved clarification from the organizers. You cannot bring glass items (bottles, glasses etc.). Coolers, plastic bottles are quite allright. HOORAY! I am going tomorrow.
