Hi forum members,
I have been playing in NUS waterpolo team for a few months now. We were training for the Indian Rim Asian University games which will be held in Perth Australia in December this year. Unfortunately, we have heard that NUS has a tight budget for its own sport clubs and our trip for this competition can't be financed. All team members were so upset with the news, but I always believe that I should never give up until the end. I decided to post this information hoping that someone may come up with some sponsorship. I also put the link below for the website of this competition to give you an idea of the games. Looking forward to hearing some good news from you.

why not do an informal sausage sizzle around the pool, auction off a date with the players. get a few radio stations involved. It would raise you some money especially if you all wore your speedos!

I wish it could be that easy. The estimated cost for this competition will be around 24k for the whole team (15 players will be participating). I could only give my 1.6k share, but the other guys don't have that financial strength to finance their own cost. But any suggestions are appreciated as they can bring up a new idea to solve the problem.
Thanks for your feedback Em Eye.
With my kind regards
