Hey there all you expats, we are looking to rent on the East Coast - Casuarina, and justed wanted to know if there is anyone else living here who has kids going to the Australian School? If so, woudl be most interested in touching base prior to us finalising our decision, to understand the transport situation and associated costs to and from the school.

Our other alternative is Golden Hill condo - which is walking distance.

Thanks heaps.

Hi,

Singapore is a great op for kids, I don't have kids but a friend has 4 girls (from 10 to 18) they all love it.
The transport is really really reliable, safe, cheap and easy to anywhere on the island. The dearest part of Singapore is the rents.

The Geylands district (I think) is the red light district. We live Nth/Wst area, still easy to get to city and anywhere else on island. If you don't have car, you should really find accom close to MRT. Shopping centers are aslo at the MRT, which is really handy and easy.

We are also from Aus, hope this is helpful

Cheers
