From what I heard, unless you are turning 21 in about 6 months time, you can't apply for Emirates.

This is where i get to read ya link given.
Its stated there. :-|

Read it properly:

Minimum age 21 years at the time of application.
Minimum arm reach of 212 cms (on tip toes), which will enable you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types.

Educated to at least high school standard.

Medically fit to meet aircrew requirements.

Fluent in written and spoken English (fluency in another language is an asset).

Previous experience in the service/hospitality industry is an advantage.

Finally, you will be the sort of person who has the natural ability to provide excellent service within a team environment.

For ur info even if u're about to or not yet turn 21, i tell u wat, dun waste your time. Trust me. U are just about the same age my fren. She's just about to reach 21 this yr but she get booted out becoz of her age. And they even told her bout they dun care even its counts by months or day or wateva. They wanna someone who already 21 yrs of age when u applying for tat post. Hope i do make myslf clear to u.

hi!

do i have to wait for 6 months after being booted out at the screening round by the Sass Alantic?

cos i remember the lady who announced the names who got thru the screening said that those who are not selected please try 6 months later.

i always thought only when you are booted out by the Emirates Recruiters then it is the 6 months ban.

it's true.. my father's friend is one of the cabin crew manager there in dubai. and he said the same thing. so, it's sass atlantic is the one who doesn't one to hire cause it's too much hassle. FOR YOUR INFO!

i think you have to register online first and they will do the shortlisting.

anyway, they didn't mention that it's a walk-in interview.

Hello Everyone. The last timeI checked with my peers, Men who came in the open recruitment day only had the opportunity to drop in their resume. No points for coming really well-groomed. Anybody here knows wether its gonna be the same this time round? Any male singaporean Emirates cabin crew here? Or is it true that they won't hire men with NS/reservist commitments?
