EPEC APPROVED.Do i still have to secure an Invitation letter

Hi there, im from the Philippines. I was already an EPEC holder, approved last month. And Im planning to go to SG to find a job. I need to know more ideas / things before i move there.

1. Since im an EPEC holder (approved ), do i still need to secure an INVITATION LETTER from a friend or someone who's already at Singapore? Bec. somebody told me that upon arrival at the SG airport, SG Immigrations were looking for it to prove that you have something to stay there / neither to sponsor you?

2. What is the best way to do if i was already at SG, is it to find immediately for a job or meantime apply for the 1 year stay at SG for EPEC holders?

3. How much cost of apartments or boarding house at SG?
