Hi all,

Moving to Singapore this weekend from HK, will be in a Service Apartment for 1st month then need to get my own place.

main question is!

Where can i buy a good 32-42 inch LCD TV / PLASMA TV!!!

back in scotland you can get a LCD HD for 900SGD so looking for similar prices for 32 and i know i will pay a big bit more for 42

I've bought a few electronics from Harvey Norman and Best.
I'm sure they're not the chapest, but the prices actually seem fairly reasonable - unlike places in the UK where High Street stores rip you off in a big way (eg Dixons !).

To be honest, spending a week looking for the best price to save $50 isn't really worth it to me.

Sim Lim/Funan is always worth a look for electronics, and remember to barter - even in the High Street stores !
A free TV wall mount or even home cinema is always nice !!

You can get a 32 inch Sony LCD for free if you sign up for 28 months of broadband internet.
Not a bad deal at all. The monthly rate is pretty good too.

Just make sure you know the cost if you ever have to break contract and don;t make the 28 months.

I bought mine from XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Stress- free and cheap! They have a largest TV Panel to select from.

Ok here we go ( i know i shouldn't SMS )

You will note it's 30 months and you will need an employment pass that is at least as long as the contract ....so 30 months.

The LCD i quoted a few months back was a different deal.

The current deal ( if you take time to do your sums) means you pay 20 dollars extra a month for the TV = 30 X 20 bucks so the TV costs 600 Dollars ....hardly free eh?

zac has the right idea ...get down audio house an pic the TV you want!
