perfumes in Lucky Plaza

I noticed that perfumes are cheaper in Lucky Plaza compared to other stores. Are they real or just imitations?

Everything in Lucky Plaza is quite dubious...

[font=Verdana]for all i know, lucky plaza is not a very high class shopping malls. unless you are there to get cheap lugguages but they aren't cheap.

i won't say those perfumes are imitation but these could be bought in bulk without paying tax. you never know.

also the stocks of perfume in shopes like that usually don't move very fast. so best to get from located counters rather than shops like that.

i used to buy from shops like this and i feel that the quality is a little 'inferior' compared to those from the counter.

i bought my burberry britz there last month and it is a tester. They told me that tester frangance are cheaper if i do not mind the packaging... orginal price is $89 but i got it for $53.Behind the bottle, there's a sticket saying not for sale etc, for tester only.

i too bought a perfume from lucky plaza .. maybe not all are imitations ... but i bought "miracle" the problem i had was the fragnance did not last long .. so guess it was an imitations ... unlike the original one .. which is my fav.. and lasts longer .. so i fell for buying a cheaper one! regretted it!
so just be careful.

I've just been there last month, the shop in front of mcD, they have a second shop at the back, was asking about the prices of several perfumes.

My mother (who was deaf) was checking out at some perfume on the shelf, it's just opened, no box, no cap, nothing, I guess it's tester perfumes, she was sniffing to check out the fragrance.. when suddenly the store keeper grab it from her hands and yelled at her. SO RUDE, I don't think twice to just leave the place.

Their price may be cheap, but with that kind of service, it's just not worth it, after sharing the stories with some friends, I then found out that the although the smell is similar, but it's not long lasting.. imitation..? I don't know, maybe, but I won't risk it..

sorry i beg to differ....at one go...i bought kenzo flower (smell was still so strong like the original that everyone knows I am wearing Kenzo), christian dior, givenchy and escada lily chic.. They are all the original... Reason why they are cheap is because of parallel import.

Unfortunately I could not remember the name of the shop I bought from but I recall it is near a side escalator in the building.

There are other options to purchase your fragrances from - Lee Hwa (mainly in HDB areas), SA SA (Wisma, Great World etc), or the shopping malls.

Personally, I find practically everything in Lucky Plaza quite dodgy. It's probably better getting perfumes (and anything else) from reputable stores in town. It's often less expensive to buy from small shops along upper part of Orchard Road just outside the ERP.
