80% region free is news to me, then again I'm no expert, so no reason I would know :wink:

I wasn't too fussed about region as Singapore is the same as the US region - so most of my films are from US Amazon.....

I'd imagine the disks have a region code printed on the cover somewhere ?

Not sure about Blu-Ray MOVIES, but PS3 games have the region code on the back.

Good note about Amazon - thanks! Would like to test a Region A Blu-Ray though if you could spare an hour one day in a few weeks?
