hi jerluv, usually they call you towards the end of your notice period (if you are working), and tell you the date that you are starting training. hence if say you have to serve a month's notice, you HAVE to tender your resignation BEFORE you sign the SIA contract.... that's how it works... else by the time they call u and you tender, it'll be too late, and you prob have to wait another month. for my time they'll call you at least 2 weeks before the start of your training, but with things moving so fast these few weeks, it may just be a few days before start of training.

hi joyfulpapaya
thats is why i am so confuse by them. they did not mention like you have to resign now they only say will call 2 to 3 weeks after you take your medical test and so if they call almost end of our notice period it will be so misleading for us who are working i feel, cos we have not sign the bond yet so i guess everything is not confirm and will it be too risky to resign first for those who are working i wonder?
i guess WAIT is the word haha....

i think there's a notice period in the application form, did you put 1 month for that? maybe you can try to confirm with SIA if they call or email you
