It really depends on the interviewer. Some will let you in if you are about 157.5 and above. Most probably they will require you to do the "reach" test. But I know that if you probably do not meet their height requirement, you are probably out.jolene23 wrote:Hm........157.5cm is the cut off meh??? If you are not 157.5 and above I don't think you should try. I heard that the height requirement is part of airline regulations.lambretta_mum wrote: you may want to try, cos ive seen all those new batches, the ladies are way shorter than expected. really. just go for it. but you MUST meet their qualification hor. they're very strict on that.

Just go and try. No harm trying.littlephoenix wrote:Hello, I have always been interested to go for cabin crew interviews but something still bugs me. I have scars on my knee cap and red dots on my arms, no visible under the uniform but will it affect my chance. I'm worried that I'll be out even before the uniform test.

Everyone is asking about the pay package, what i was told is basic pay is ABOUT $1300 (not sure whether include grooming allowance already)...depending on qualification....flying pay per hour is $7.50 (ONLY).....+ allowance...and i think even turnover flights got allowance..but very little only...i think is abt $50??? then layover is a lot more.... i heard from another frd if fly super long haul like non stop to new york..total time spend to n fro will be around 7-8 days approximately....then the amt of money u get paid for this kind of flight is abour 1k.....(+ or -, i dunno ) And also....the graduity that will be paid after 5 yrs...........is $12k only not 40-50k...this one is confirm with 2 SIA frd..............anyway sometimes we also dunno how the policy is like...so if we want this as our job...i guess money is not the only issue...........is the experience that counts right..............
Hey any suggestion to whether going to 25th or 26th interview would have lesser people???
Good Luck to those trying........this is my 2nd attempt....hope things goes well!!!
yes girl, the basic is pay is around $1200-$1300 depending on whether you have a diploma or degree. it does not include any allowances. during your training period, this is the only amount you will receive. once you start flying, all the allowances will come in. long hual flights average at about 7 days, and these will really make your salary go up. the "harder" you work, the more you will get paid. on average, you will earn around $3.5k a month once you start flying. it can be more, it can be less, depending on your roster for that month. the salary is quite high, compared to other airlines which are based in Singapore. there are other benefits to the job, besides the experience, travelling around the world, etc etc. but of course there are the cons.jolene23 wrote: Everyone is asking about the pay package, what i was told is basic pay is ABOUT $1300 (not sure whether include grooming allowance already)...depending on qualification....flying pay per hour is $7.50 (ONLY).....+ allowance...and i think even turnover flights got allowance..but very little only...i think is abt $50??? then layover is a lot more.... i heard from another frd if fly super long haul like non stop to new york..total time spend to n fro will be around 7-8 days approximately....then the amt of money u get paid for this kind of flight is abour 1k.....(+ or -, i dunno ) And also....the graduity that will be paid after 5 yrs...........is $12k only not 40-50k...this one is confirm with 2 SIA frd..............anyway sometimes we also dunno how the policy is like...so if we want this as our job...i guess money is not the only issue...........is the experience that counts right..............
