learning SRT (single rope technique) + rock climbing methods

Post by Riane » Thu, 02 Aug 2007 4:06 pm

Hi, I need to learn SRT
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single_Rope_Technique
and other rock climbing techniques/rope work to help me explore caves

anyone into climbing here and can advise on who to hook up with?. I called one school but they dont teach SRT and rarely natural rock climbing stuff

Once trained (in rock climbing) can anyone just turn up at the nature reserve to climb?

cheers
R

have you tried Safra Yishun? I took a basic rock climbing course there but I am aware they have more advanced courses as well. Maybe you can give them a call to query. Just google Yishun Safra and you should be able to get more information.
