Getting the kids to school

Post by Charlatan » Thu, 02 Aug 2007 1:21 pm

I am looking for a way to get my daughter to and from school.

In Canada we had her in a daycare where we dropped her off anytime after 7:00am and picked her up before 6:00pm. The daycare would take her to school and pick her up. They would also feed her lunch.

I am not looking for anything quite so elaborate.

I need someone to take her to school in the morning -- pick her up from my house at around 8:00am and get her to school for 9:00am and then pick her up at 3:00pm, take her home and look after her (give her a snack, play with her, etc.) until 5:00pm.

Are there any services in Singapore like this? I am trying to avoid hiring a live-in helper.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Some people are lucky to found an 'auntie' (local women) to do this for them. I've heard good things about this aunties.
Where to find them...? I think you'll have to ask around, I'm sure someone will know of someone who can help you.

Good luck!
