I will be moving to Singapore soon, and would like to replace my old iPOD with a new one. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy iPOD in Singapore than for example, in China? and where should I go buy one? in a regular electronic store, or are there shops which offer a more special deal?
Thank you in advance for your advice!!

I did the research a year ago and found that the 'Official Apple' shop in Wheelock Place was asking the same price as all of the 'cheap' shops like Sim Lim Square and Funan. Id go back there!

I agree with AussieEm. I think she's referring to Epicentre at Wheelock. There's one in Suntec too. Another reason why you'd want to buy from them is that they might have a promotion and throw in freebies.
Unless you are have a really strong personality to fight off those hard-selling salespeople at Sim Lim, I suggest you steer clear of it altogether. Or go straight to the upper floors. They bug you less up there.

Just go to the Apple center at Wheelock as all others noted. They have promotions and no one, really no one, with genuine Ipods is cheaper.

There's also an Apple shop at Funan and Cinaleisure. Yes, they do throw in freebies.

I’ve always preferred to shop for electronics at stores like best denki, Challenger, and courts rather than at malls like Funan or Sim Lim square,...
