Dear All,
My 4 year old daughter wants to do a bowling party for her birthday. We are quite new to Singapore, and don't know where it would be child-friendly (ie. lanes that have option to block the gutters,..it does not have to, but at least have light enough bowling balls). Any suggestions for a place that would also allow a party of 4-8 giggling kids, would be great.
Thank you in advance.

There is a bowling alley in Tampines. If I remember right it is at the Safra Club.
It is open to the public and they do B day partys. My kids went to one there. They even give trophys to 1st place. Kind of like a mini tournement.
Nice lanes with bumpers. Light balls also.
In the States they have balls for the little kids that are hollow and made of rubber. Not sure if they have them here or not.
Another good alley is at west coast park by the Micky Ds. Not sure if they do parties.
Happy Birthday

Can you please give me the name or phone number of this bowling place near Tampines? My son wants to celebrate his birthday party there.
Thanks,
Lakshmi

I believe it is a Cathay Bowl.
I know it is at Safra club at Tampines.
That is all I know.
You will have to look it up in the phone book. Sorry

There's also a bowling place next to the McDonald's At East Coast Park. Don't know about the gutters bumpers though. Might be worth a phone call to check.

Such places wouldn't even have wifi... if you're referring to the strength of service, it really depends on how remote the place in question is.
