i go to Leonard drake for facials cuz i feel that they are quite good at extractions and problematic skin such as acne. Im acne-prone by the way. Been with them for about 5 years. You can google for their website. :)

THe price listed is per treatment.
I bought the package when i was still a student so i managed to get the treatments at a student price which is alot cheaper. Im still currently trying to use up the student package. My treatment is for acne skin. :)

It starts off with cleansing, followed by steaming and exfoliation, then extraction and end with a mask. Their extraction is quite good such that they thoroughly extract all the clogged pores and those pus in acne/pimples. For non-student price, there's a facial massage too.

Consultation (face-mapping) is included in the price. THey will do the face-mapping thing which can help to determine the correct treatment for your skin type.

THey're not dermatologists so they dont prescribe medicines for your skin problems. Instead they sell skincare products such as dermalogica and averine(?). These are sold seperately. Not included in your treatment price. However, they do give skincare samples generously so u can ask from them before deciding if u wanna purchase the retail size.

They have packages which is definately more worth it rather than paying each time you go. Im not too sure about the package price. You have to enquire with them. Some beauticians are nice enough to give you extra 1 or 2 treatments when you buy a package. THey gave me 2 additional treatments and a whole lot of dermalogica samples when i took up a new package. So try to bargain for the best deal. :D

There are a number of beauty salons in Far East Plaza. They are reasonable and rather good. S$80 can get you a basic facial including a back & shoulder massage... nice...

It's in the row with all the beauty salons, 3rd floor I think. SOTHY'S products line the display window. Name eludes me at the moment, but they wear brown uniform. Run by three women. They don't hard sell, very soft spoken. I switched to them cause their skin's so beautiful, and they're not pushy.

Hi! When you say basic facial? Does it include extraction?

bzbody at Far East Plaza is recommended by my guy friend, he says the girls there are very friendly and each session costs less than 100 bucks, but not sure I haven't tried.

I signed up on a packge with Jean Yip, which is the only reason I'm still using them - they are ok, it's just the hard-sell tactics I can't stand sometimes - everytime I go, they try to push a new product to me, or sell me a set of facial masks, serums, ampoules, etc.....sometimes I end up more stressed than when I started off  And they managed to persuade me to upgrade my packgae to a more expensive one too....sigh. Am currently using their collagen facial programme, which is quite soothing but about 200 bucks a session!!! They also throw in a neck and face massage and eyebrow tweezing. If you ask, they can help draw your eyebrows for you too as part of the complimentary service.

The one at Far East I go to is definitely not BZBody. It's on the row facing the main road with the huge window display of Sothy products.

Basic facial INCLUDES extraction. Pay a little more and you get a lovely shoulder and back massage that always puts me to sleep. =D Price is below 100 bucks. Haven't gone there for a while as I'm overseas now, but when I am in Singapore, only go there for facial.
