I'm looking for a reasonably priced
Serviced Apartment (1 to 2 bedroom) close to Science Park/ NUS, but location isn't too important. I've been looking at some of the ones listed on the internet, and it seems most of them charge over $7000 per month. I'm looking for something more reasonable (i.e. <$5000). Would appreciate any suggestions.

You should check out Wilby Residences- the central location---
www.wilby.com.sg/ It's about a 5 minute walk from the Bugis MRT. They have smaller rooms from 3400 a month. Might not be as close to NUS as you were hoping, but definitely much cheaper than many of the other
Serviced Apartments.

Thanks mem25 for the great suggestion
Took a look at the website you provided and the place looks decent and reasonably priced. Close to MRT is great as it will help with the commute. It looks like a good option.
If you or anybody else has additional ideas, please let me know.

Do a search for Lotus Sanctuary as well. Their website might not be working at the moment yet since it was being amended but i paid $5000 for a 3-bedroom, fully furnished, fully service place a few months back when i first moved.

Good shout ScoobyDoes (cute dog)! I'll keep checking that website in hopes they get it working soon. I'm curious to find out what their rates are now and where it is located. In the meantime, do you have a phone number at which I can contact them? Thanks a bunch!

I stayed at their place in Joo Chiat but they have another in Jervois Road.
I think the rates is one reason why they are updated the website, given what's happened with rental rates in the last 6-months / 1-year.

I haven't moved to Singapore yet and I'm already stressed over rental increases! Hope they won't increase out of my price-range.
Is there any other economically priced
Serviced Apartment in the outlying fringe areas? I just need a place for a few months until I've found suitable permanent housing.
