Where to buy furniture in Singapore

Post by achauhan » Sun, 29 Jul 2007 8:54 am

Hi!

I am new to Singapore and am trying to furnish my house. I have visited furniture mall, Ikea and Park Mall in hunt for furniture. I am still looking for few other items such as study table and computer table. Does anybody know where can I get these?
Thanks!

Hi

Just off the top of my head - have you tried the Furniture Mall on the Nicoll Highway?

Gillman Village (Lock Road, just off Alexandra Road) has a cluster of good furniture shops, particularly if you like teak furniture.

You probably won't find a computer table there but they may have some classic study tables if you're interested in that style of furniture.

if you're looking for no-fuss, mass-produced furniture, check out the warehouse sales on little road and ubi avenue along upper paya lebar road.

Any suggestions on where I can get something like this?

http://www.boconcept.us/default.aspx?id ... ageID=2123

I'm looking for a modern TV desk - BOConcept makes modern furniture and isn't outrageous such as SPACE here in Singapore.

With due respect - if you don't have anything useful to contribute, please don't just for the heck of it!

 I think they were being serious. Lots of people have furniture custom made here, I have done it 5 or 6 times at least.

Agree, We have had furniture both built in and stand alone custom made to fit. It is not that much more expensive and you can use your own design. We did it recently for a long computer desk to hold two computors. If you are interested I can pass a number on too you. We have also had existing furniture completely renovated on occasions because we could not find anything locally at the time that met our taste and fitted in well enough with our existing reaining furniture.

Cheers
