hi rinnu, you mean it works if we have a pilot friend or captain to recommend you to SIA?
not necessarily true.
it depends on who your friend is connected to and whether they know any one in HR also.
and sometimes they only help immediate family members.

Once someone aims you, thats it. BECAREFUL.
They hate pretty faces. Will make your life miserable.
Thank god, I got fresh air to breathe now.
GOOD LUCK!
hehe

Hi gals, wanna check with you, what does the uniform for Silkair like? Because I have a birthmark that can be covered by SIA uniform (cos it's almost arm length) but I have no idea how short the sleeve for the Silkair uniform.
Thanks

Thanks babe! By the way, does anyone know if Silkair or SIA booted out people who have natural birthmarks but can be covered by uniform? Because I know they boot out people with tattoos, even if it can be covered by the uniform.
Thanks

HA. CRAP! i know crews with tattoos who didn't get booted out at all. i don't think so.. if you are good and have a pleasant personality. they will definitely take you in regardless.

Hee Hee thanks babe. It was my cousin (who just got into SIA) and during the water confidence test, they booted out those with tattoos. That's why I was concerned about the mark cos I can't do anything to remove it (spent 1k trying to get it off but no result)
Your answer is very reassuring babe. Thankies!

i think as long as it can be covered with the uniform should be fine ba...
i have ever heard cabin crew with tattoo or birthmarks but it can be covered by the uniform. So not to worry too much.
sometimes it depends on the interviewer, they can find the smallest thing to boot you out. but if they have the intention to take you in, as long as you look fine in the uniform then it's okay.
