Hi All,

I face the same situation as dumb and dumper. Can anyone tell me your experience if you receive your PR under the family tie lane above 40 years old if you still called up for NS?

Appreciate your input
I received my PR via Family Ties in May 1995, in two more months I will be 75. Like all the others I registered with CMPB and was given a waiver. My age at obtaining PR? The math is easy to do.

No you won't.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

I got one at 29 with no kids. Waivers for PR are standard. No men in green are going to come and snatch you at midnight and send you off to camp.

Hi, I hope you don't mind me taking a few minutes of your time to ask you a question.

I recently encountered an issue where I was told that I was a PR since birth (parents didn't know) and have committed Enlistment Act offences. The issue is resolved as I lost my PR due to expiry of REP when I was 6 but ICA has given CMPB the incorrect record that I ceased to be PR only when I was 28. Hence, no outstanding issue against me anymore.

I'm looking to regain my employment again and if that were to happen miraculously as a former PR, I hope to apply for PR. What are the chances do you think that I can also be given a waiver for NS at let's say 30 years old?
