Half Irish here ... (other half being a standard issue London Heinz57)

Whereabouts in the Emerald isle you hail from? My Mum's family are from Roscommon & Gallway.

Half a Deefa is still pretty substantial. ;)

My little Irish friend told me to tell you to look up these:

Hi Markhed. I'm Irish, from Tyrone. Been here just over a year. Where abouts are you from?

Check out the Gaelic Dragons dragon boat team for a bit of sport and socialising. http://www.gaelicdragons.org

Just give me a call or contact through the website if you are interested in coming along for a paddle.

Cheers,
Declan

P.S. We accept Irish, half Irish and not Irish at all for the team.

Nah, not desperate. Just more fun with a mixed crowd!

You'd love it. Come along too.

Story?

Post by markhed » Thu, 26 Jul 2007 8:59 am

Hi Declan/Deefa,

Im from Kildare, just beside The Curragh. I will check out the Dragon Boat site. I have never done it.

What do you think of Singapore? It sure is different from home!

i got a mate of mine from Tullamore who lives in Osaka. Whenever people ask him where he is from he just says he is an Ex Pat.

Terrible gag realy ... but it amuses him ...

Would you all mind a non-Irish, and non-guy to join your outing?

Gosh I shouldn't mention this- a non-drinker, too! I mean, I drink, sometimes, just certainly not as much/good as any ordinary Irish person :)
