no you don't have to be skinny to have a higher chance, sometimes being too skinny lowers your chances as you may not look good in the kebaya. the kebaya is fitting, so it is good to have curves. yes they do hire plump girls.ugly_betty wrote: 1. How impt is looks?
2. do we have to be skinny to have a higher chance? i mean, ever any record of them hiring plump gals?
3. As long as we know hw to swim, its fine? Is there like a timing or record needed during the test?
4. What else should we look out for?
5. How many interviews are there and what do they consist of?

there are many girls who do not know how to swim, as the water confidence test is very easy. you have a lifevest, so all you have to do is float and kick your way across the pool. no timing or record is needed.
there are 5 rounds altogether -
1. group interview
2. kebaya fitting
3. 1-on-1 interview
4. water confidence test
5. management interview
you should look through all the SIA threads for alot of useful info and tips.
many girls who have gone through the interviews have posted their past experiences.
hmmm... the minimum height requirement is 1.58m... they do check on measurement when u go for interview... i have friends who's 1.57m who manage to pass the height...sallyandharry wrote:Do you think 1.55m should even try SIA? Apparently the only airline that accepts this height is Gulf aiirway, but now they are not recruiting:(
