Decent Wine Bars?

Post by Loislane » Thu, 02 Sep 2004 3:55 pm

Who knows of good wine bars (not where loud music and funky chinamen hang out, pretending to enjoy wine). Which of these will be condusive to a woman on her own?

Decent Wine Bars?

Hi, Que Pasa on Emerald Hill (between the famous/infamous No.5 and Ice Cold Beer) has always been good. There is an 'upstairs' where (although the wines are more expensive) it's even more relaxed and peaceful, particularly for a single lady.
Enjoy.

Wine - solo or with friends

My votes:

Beaujolais on Ann Siang Hill (Chinatown) - landmark wine bar - can be intimate or very busy but still charming and cozy

The Wine Company on Dempsey Road (off Holland Road) - new, quiet and very relaxing

I honestly like Golf Therapy at Sixth Avenue Centre. Very cozy place....cheap drinks n good finger food. A very nice hang out.
