Botox on Jaws

Hi Dreampotion,

Which doctor did you consult that uses botox with lippodissolve to slim down the jaws/face?

I havent heard of lippodissolve before & when i checked with a doctor, he doesnt know what i mean. He asked whether i meant Meso-Botox? Does lippodissolve have a medical name/term?

What does this lippodissolve do & how long does the Results last?

Thanks. :)

my fren did jaw botox, quite drastic change, MUCH slimmer, but depends on person. For me, the doctor said, no point doing, cos wun see much difference.

Reasoning is botox only contracts muscles, so depends on how muscular the jaw is. If it's fats, botox wun make a diff at all (like mine).

Clench your jaw and release. If you touch your jaw under your ear, you can feel the muscles clench, and how big that muscle is.

That said, my fren has to go back every 6 mths for jab cos it doesn;t last very long for her.
Next: Forehead augmentation, botox, RF

Hi dreampotion!

I just had my Lipo dissolve done at the same clinic! It was just last week where I had my very 1st one done on my upper arms. Its been a week but I don't see much reduction yet. :???: I am supposed to go for my second injection in 5 weeks time. The total cost for this package is $900. :D I am just frustrated at how long I am supposed to wait till I see some results. Do you know how long are we to lay off alcohol? The doc said 3 days from the injection day. But some friends lay off for 2 weeks. Christmas is coming and I would love to have a glass of Champagne. :)

hi just to clarify, botox doesn't contract the muscles
it is basically a form of toxin that paralyses the muscles, so that you don't subconsciously clench the muscles
hence the muscles are relaxed, and they slump instead of being tense, causing your face shape to become sharper.

Hi,

My fren did her botox on her jaw at SKN clinic at Centtrepoint.

Dr Alvin Wong did a very good job on her.

Now she looks better.

Dear dream potion

What exactly is lippodisolve or... meso? How does it work?

I've already given up on botox, done it a lot, doesn't see that much drastic change, I can still feel my muscles when I clench, it's still strong, my doc saids she doesn't know why....... :x btw I always use the max. dosage. ..

Hi may I know what is TMJ?
hi...
TMJ = Temporomandibular Joint

Its the 2 points (1 on left 1 on right) which links your lower jaw to the skull

I did it in Toronto in a real nice clinc and I constantly see others going there, and I did research on internet

It work a bit but I can still feel the muscle when I clench.

botox isn't like something hard to do you don't even need to be a plastic surgeon to perform it.

The person who said it'll worsen TMJ problems.. not really true
If anything, should help your TMJ problems cos the jaw muscle is in a much more relaxed state
