Continuing Studies

Post by Bafana » Sun, 15 Jul 2007 9:33 am

Hi Guys

Its about 15 years since I left university and have been feeling the need to do some extra credit lah. Part time of course.

Anybody else feelign the need and is anybody doing some already in Singapore?

In my mind it would have to be home based and as flexible as possible.

Bafana,

Are you looking at doing a master's degree? And what areas are you looking into?

I've gone to about 3 talks about some graduate courses (MBA/MS). There are a lot of options offered by the educational institutions here (or the representatives of the foreign universities). Most offer a blended type of learning. You study on your own but you get a weekly or biweekly meetings with your classmates. Or a lecturer from the main campus of the university will fly into SG for a weekend. Take some time to think of what you really want to accomplish and how much time do you want to allocate for your studies.

Good luck!
